My story.
From Beijing to Switzerland—and still exploring.

My name is Sky, and I was born in Beijing. I moved away when I was six and have since become much more used to life in Switzerland, where I have studied at Le Rosey for the past five years and recently started high school.
I speak Chinese, English, and French, although English is currently my strongest written language while I continue developing the others. Learning languages has sometimes been challenging for me, especially grammar, but I am proud of how much I have improved over the years.
Academically, I especially enjoy science, math, and history. I like science because of the practical experiments and math because I find solving problems fun. Outside of academics, I enjoy skiing and football depending on the season, as well as spending time with my friends.
I am still exploring what I might want to pursue in the future, but a recent camp where I helped build a small submarine and soldered electronic components together introduced me to engineering and made me curious to learn more about it. What I enjoyed most was seeing the final product after the work we had put into it. As I continue through high school, I hope to develop my skills, gain new experiences, and discover what truly interests me.
